Dani fontana

If there’s one thing to know about Dani, it’s that she doesn’t do small. As the powerhouse behind Wedding Guide Media, Geelong Wedding Guide Magazine, and more businesses than we can count (okay, fine—Tom Collins Caravan Bar, Boutique Event Co, The Cocktail Cart, Geelong/Melbourne/Ballarat Wedding Guide, and Valley Loves), she’s built an empire in the wedding industry with sheer determination, creativity, and a whole lot of hard work.

A mother of two, wife to Matt, tequila enthusiast, and self-proclaimed crazy cat lady, Dani is the definition of busy—but somehow, she makes it all look effortless. Whether she’s curating the latest issue of the magazine, planning epic wedding events, or coming up with her next big idea, she does it with passion and a relentless drive to make the industry better.

She’s fiercely loyal, ridiculously hardworking, and always the one pushing the boundaries to do something bigger, better, and more exciting. Keeping up with her isn’t for the faint of heart—but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Jessica alderton

Starting out in the world of weddings as a stylist and florist, Jess has always had an eye for detail and a passion for creating unforgettable moments. With years of experience in transforming spaces and curating dream wedding days, she naturally found herself drawn to coordination—because let’s be honest, making things look beautiful is one thing, but making them run smoothly is a whole other level of magic.

As a mother of two, Jess is no stranger to multitasking, which makes her the perfect fit for Wedding Guide Media. She keeps our socials in check, handles the backend admin like a pro, and generally keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes—basically, anything Dani throws her way, Jess makes happen.

She’s got a knack for organization, a creative mind that never stops, and a heart for supporting both couples and vendors in the wedding industry. Whether it’s ensuring a flawless wedding setup, crafting a stunning floral arrangement, or making sure our online presence is on point, Jess does it all with a mix of style & strategy.

We’d be lost without her, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Ruby o’dowd

Creativity runs through Ruby’s veins. As our go-to graphic designer and videographer, she’s the one behind all the stunning visuals that make Wedding Guide Media look as good as it does. From eye-catching designs to beautifully crafted films, Ruby has a way of bringing stories to life in a way that feels effortless—but trust us, it’s pure talent.

When she’s not making magic for us, she’s running her own business, Down The Road Weddings, capturing love stories through her lens and creating wedding films that couples will cherish forever. Her attention to detail, artistic eye, and ability to make everything just work is something we’ll never take for granted.

Ruby is the kind of person who sees the bigger picture while nailing the smallest details—a rare combo that makes her an absolute powerhouse in the wedding industry. Whether she’s designing, filming, or bringing fresh creative ideas to the table, we’re constantly in awe of what she can do.

Basically, if it looks good, Ruby probably had something to do with it—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

kirsty howell

When it comes to running events like a well-oiled machine, Kirsty is the one you want at the helm. As our Expo Coordinator, she’s the mastermind behind making sure everything runs smoothly—because let’s be real, pulling off a wedding expo is no small feat.

A mother of one and wife to a very patient husband, Kirsty is the definition of calm under pressure. With a background in events coordination, she’s got the skills, experience, and level-headed approach to turn even the wildest ideas into reality (or, at the very least, make sure Dani’s crazy plans don’t derail into total chaos).

She’s equal parts planner, problem-solver, and sanity checker, keeping us grounded when things get hectic and ensuring every detail is covered. Whether it’s vendor logistics, floor plans, or just making sure we all breathe between deadlines, Kirsty is the glue that holds it all together.

We’d be lost without her—and Dani would probably be in way over her head.

Rhiannon norbeck

Words have always been Rhi’s thing. As a copywriter by day at Cotton On Group, she’s a master of storytelling, weaving magic with words and making everything sound effortlessly good.

A mother of three and wife to one very lucky guy, Rhi somehow balances family life with her knack for bringing brands to life through words. But her talents don’t stop at the 9-to-5—she’s also our resident wordsmith at Wedding Guide Media, crafting copy that connects, inspires, and makes us all look way more polished than we probably are.

She also happens to be Dani’s oldest friend, which means she’s been around long enough to have seen all the highs, lows, and questionable fashion choices. Her loyalty, creativity, and quick wit make her an irreplaceable part of the team. Whether she’s finessing a feature, whipping up the perfect Instagram caption, or just making us laugh when we need it most, Rhi is the kind of person you always want in your corner.

We’re beyond lucky to have her—and we promise we’ll never ask her to write her own bio.

Matt fontana

Every great business needs someone to keep things in check—and for us, that’s Matt. Officially, he’s our Business Manager (if we have to give him a title), but in reality, he’s the taskmaster, money tracker, and all-around voice of reason when things start to get a little too ambitious.

As Dani’s husband and a loving dad, he’s mastered the art of patience—an essential skill when your wife is full of big, bold ideas that sometimes need a little grounding. Whether he’s keeping the numbers in line or just reminding us all to take a breath, Matt plays a crucial role in keeping Wedding Guide Media running smoothly.

He might not be the loudest one in the room, but trust us—without him, things would probably descend into chaos real quick. We’re lucky to have him steering the ship (and keeping Dani somewhat on task).
