Liz and Sam - Yarra Valley Farm Wedding

When a vendor from the industry gets hitched you know it’s going to be special. Especially when that vendor is a super talented florist.
Sam and Liz (said gorgeous florist) had their beautiful relaxed farm wedding in the Yarra Valley captured by our amazing and talented vendor Brenna from Ada and Ivy Photography.
We are super in love with the flowers Liz created (of course), along with the rustic vibes and Liz and Sam’s lux touches like Liz’s stunning dress and sam’s velvet red jacket. It’s all perfect against the stunning Yarra Valley backdrop along with about 200 photos of Liz gigantic smile and Sam’s joy to be marrying the love of his life, along side their fur babies of course.

The Riverstone Estate is a 75-acre property set on the banks of the Yarra River, amid Melbourne’s famous Yarra Valley wine country.

Building on the reputation and history of the region, The Riverstone Estate is known for producing exceptional food and wine, with breathtaking 360-degree views unlike any other wedding venue in the Yarra Valley.

The central showpiece of the property is a classic storybook homestead & function space built from Bluestone and 100-year-old Oregon timber which was reclaimed from the Newmarket sale yards.

INSPO - MODERN RUSTIC ROMANCE

Something special happens when a group of like minded people get together to be create magic. It’s heart warming to us that outside our wedding fairs and events our community catch up and create beautiful styled shoots like this one right here. We are proud to say a lot of vendors on this team are Valley loves vendors, and we may brag about it a lot, but our community are super talented and amazing people.

With a team lead by photographer Brenna Matthews of Ada and Ivy, this beautiful shoot has evolved. Featured at the historic Yarra Valley venue Olinda Yarra, with modern romantic touches set in this gorgeous rustic setting with details that make us swoon. Using timeless elements of mostly white with a hint of green and black, them team hope to inspire and focus on the message “with a great team you can create something really timeless and beautiful on any canvas”. We feel the magic created here brings together all elements beautifully, the juxtaposition between the historic and modern works perfectly when bought together by such timeless details.

The other beautiful thing about this shoot, it’s sustainable focus with eco friendly and locally sourced elements throughout- Voivode Bar is a refurbished horse cart, completely transformed to serve cocktails and drinks (we are totally vibe’ing on the colour of this!). The bride’s dress was hired from Glam Corner, confetti was from Bio Confetti and completely biodegradable. Innocent Bystander supplied the moscato and the flowers locally sourced as well, the tables and bench seats have been hand made using recycled wood and the styling was done by companies that hire out quality wares that are washed and re used. Our Valley Loves vendors shine in this shoot, highlighted by Brenna’s relaxed, authentic approach and her eye for detail and beautiful light.
